Paradoxically, I see hope in evil

This reflection is a free continuation and a kind of addition to the older text "Paradoxically, I see hope in stupidity".

In addition to stupidity, incompetence and sticking one's head in the sand, the current situation is caused by something else, and I think that something is the incredible moral and spiritual emptiness of people.

Belief in something higher was replaced by the pursuit of material values without any overlap. If any faith is lost in a person, he naturally starts to behave the way today's "elites" behave - i.e. completely immorally and without any vision of the future, the next generation and humanism - there is only one thing left - HERE AND NOW.

Carpe diem - ulive the day, completely replaced Memento mori – so remember death and don't forget your transience.

But that emptiness is slowly affecting all industries like a cancer - as I am a filmmaker myself, I see it most tangibly in cinematography. Almost any movie from the last five to ten years is completely unwatchable. There is NOTHING AT ALL in those movies - they have no soul, no message, no idea - they are just perfectly polished products – just as our lives and society as a whole have become.
Just gold painted shit.

And the place where faith and spirituality used to be replaced by mere selfishness - TO HAVE and OWN. People don't care about anything else anymore, and politicians and "elites" don't live for anything else anymore. 

Politics is also no longer a service to the public, but has become only an elevator to power and money, and it doesn't matter at what cost.

And selfishness and lack of love naturally leads to evil, and that evil now rules the world.

But no tree can grow to the heavens, and just as incapacity and emptiness cannot grow forever, neither can evil grow forever. 

Evil has the advantage that ALWAYS infinity destroys itself. 

It's inevitable, and it doesn't matter whether you take it from a metaphysical point of view or a purely pragmatic one, but that's just the way it is.

Pacts of immoral, characterless and evil people ALWAYS break up because one inherently distrusts the other and each wants more and cheats the other.
And they start to eat each other and settle their own accounts - but that's what happens. These are all the "accidentally" downed helicopters, the "discovered" corruption scandals...

Evil is stupid and actually comically predictable and always destructive because it just parasitizes and destroys.

You may feel it, you may not, but I am convinced that the great cauldron of evil that has gathered over the past years cannot grow indefinitely and must soon burst like a pressure cooker.

And evil also always ends up being written on people's faces and destroying them - you can call it karma, God's mills, or whatever you want, but ALWAYS will return to those people.
The contract with the devil is simply not free and everything has a price - in short, there is a deep truth in fairy tales and stories.

And evil in the end ALWAYS is losing - and I see some hope in that - only sometimes it unfortunately takes a little longer...
